Compatible with

Brands, protocols and device types supported by RF-HUB.

RF-HUB reads and controls a wide range of 433 MHz devices via built-in protocol decoders. The list below shows what the firmware recognises out of the box — many generic RF products using the same protocols also work without being listed specifically.

🎙️ Also works with remote controls not on the list. Is your brand not listed? RF-HUB can record the signal from any 433 MHz remote control (pulse patterns are stored as a compressed bitmap) and then control the device itself. If you have a working remote for a product, that product will most likely work with RF-HUB.

Sensors that RF-HUB receives

  • Oregon Scientific — thermometers, hygrometers, weather stations. Supports protocol version 1, 2 and 3 (covers most models from the 2000s onwards).
  • Bresser — 5-in-1 and 7-in-1 weather stations with rolling-code multiframe protocol.
  • Rubicson — pool thermometers and weather sensors (Bresser-compatible).
  • Froggit — WH6000 and other Bresser-compatible weather stations.
  • Ventus — C8488A etc. (Bresser-compatible).
  • UPM — outdoor thermometers and hygrometers (WT450 protocol).
  • Telldus Temp — temperature and humidity sensors using the Telldus/FineOffset protocol.
  • TFA Dostmann — temperature/humidity sensors and rain gauges.
  • MarQuant — motion sensors and 32-bit RF switches (FineOffset protocol).
  • Fine Offset — WH2, WH5 and other basic temperature/humidity sensors.
  • MtxRain / Jula / Schou / Motonet / ADE — rain gauges (MtxRain protocol).
  • Mandolyn — generic sensors (compatible with many no-name models).
  • Everflourish — wireless switches and sensors (EMW100R etc.).
  • Sensor data includes battery warning and signal strength (RSSI) — you can see immediately if a sensor is running low on battery or is out of range.

Remote switches, dimmers and remote controls (RX + TX)

  • Nexa — on/off switches, dimmers, remote controls, lamp adapters.
  • Telldus — all devices controlled by Tellstick. Telldus went bankrupt in 2023 — RF-HUB is a direct replacement that also supports the older remote controls.
  • Proove, Clas Ohlsson, GAO, Rusta, Kjell & Company, Otis, Sartano, Arctech — all Telldus-compatible.
  • HomeEasy, COCO / KlikAanKlikUit, Trust Smart Home, Anslut — same Proove/Nexa protocol, popular in the Nordics and Benelux.
  • Luxorparts — RSL366-compatible (e.g. model 50219).
  • Sonoff RF — Sonoff's 433 MHz range (RcSwitch-1).
  • Unitec — wireless switches (EIM-209 etc.).
  • Everflourish — EMW100R etc.
  • Generiska EV1527-fjärrkontroller and other fixed-code devices — via RcSwitch.

Motorised roller blinds and shutters

  • Somfy — premium motorised roller blinds with RTS rolling code and position feedback.
  • A-Ok / AC114 / AC123 — 64-bit protocol, motorised roller blinds.
  • Bofu — Bofu roller blinds sold by StyraHem and others.
  • Markisol, E-Motion, Rollerhouse — same protocol as Bofu.

Smart home platforms

  • Home Assistant — via MQTT discovery (automatic detection). All devices appear as regular entities you can automate further.
  • Homey Pro, Bridge and Cloud — via the cloud (Tarra's qtrl.me service acts as broker).
  • qtrl.me — Tarra's own cloud service for remote access and the Homey bridge.
  • Lokal HTTP/WebSocket — build your own integrations against the device's web interface.
  • Webhooks — RF-HUB can POST to any URL when triggers fire (IFTTT, Telegram, Discord, your own API ...).
  • Improv-protokoll — WiFi configuration via the ESPHome Provisioning app.
