Status light colours

Troubleshooting Updated 2026-07-26

The RF-HUB has a small status light (LED) that shows what the hub is doing at a glance. Here is what each colour and pattern means:

  • Solid green — the hub is running normally and connected. A brief wink (the light goes off for a moment) every few seconds simply shows the hub is alive.
  • White — the hub is starting up.
  • Solid blue — setup mode: the hub's own Wi-Fi (access point) is open and waiting for you to configure it.
  • Solid yellow — the hub is connecting to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Blinking blue — a firmware update is in progress. Do not unplug the hub.
  • Blinking red — something is wrong (a fault). Try restarting the hub; if it keeps blinking red, see our other troubleshooting articles or contact support.

Adjusting the brightness

You can change how bright the status light is. Open the hub's web interface, go to Settings and use the LED Brightness slider. Set it to 0 % to turn the light off completely. The setting is saved and kept after a restart.
