Troubleshoot the Homey app for RF-HUB

Troubleshooting Updated 2026-05-27

If you see the message that the StyraHem RFHub app has crashed in Homey, there are a few things you can try yourself before contacting support.

Quick steps

  1. Restart Homey (Settings > System > Restart).
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the RFHub app.
  3. Check that the RFHub firmware is version 1.1.0 or later — update from the RF-HUB web interface if necessary.

Submit a diagnostic report

  1. Go to Settings > Apps in the Homey app.
  2. Find StyraHem RFHub in the list.
  3. Click Submit diagnostic report — you will receive an ID starting with diag:.
  4. Send the ID to support.

Temporary workaround in the meantime

If the Homey integration is not working — RF-HUB can run in parallel with Home Assistant via MQTT, or directly from its own web interface.
